A little help
Find your way
back to the line.
Start with a tap between two dots. Each tap changes how the paths meet. The goal shown above the board tells you what the puzzle needs.
How do I play?
Tap a gap between neighboring dots to cycle its state. Watch the line count and goal above the board. The early puzzles teach new rules in place. Open Help while playing for explanations of pinwheels, beads, petals, regions and colored lines. Larger boards offer zoom and panning.
What do the lamps mean?
Lamps reward solving with fewer hints. A hint reduces the maximum reward for that attempt. Undo and restart are always available. Puzzles with a tap budget show that limit explicitly; use Undo or Restart if you exceed it.
What is free, and what does the unlock include?
All 40 Chapter 1 puzzles and today's daily puzzle are free. Margazhi seasonal puzzles are also free. A single, non-consumable purchase unlocks Chapters 2–5 and the past daily archive. There is no subscription. The app shows Apple's price in your local currency before purchase.
How do I restore my purchase?
Open Settings in One Line and choose Restore Purchases while connected to the internet. Use the same Apple Account that made the purchase. If the store cannot load, use Retry. Apple manages payment and refund requests through Report a Problem.
Where is my progress saved?
Progress is saved on this device automatically. With iCloud enabled for One Line, it also syncs between devices using the same Apple Account. Give both devices an internet connection and reopen the app. If a save warning appears, follow its guidance and tap Retry before closing the app.
Why is today's daily different after travel?
The daily follows the local calendar date on your device. Changing time zone or crossing midnight may move you to a different daily. The calendar keeps your completed puzzles.
How do sound and reminders work?
Sound effects, haptics and ambient sound have separate controls in Settings. Ambient sound is optional and yields to other audio. One Line respects silent mode. Daily reminders are optional local notifications; change them in the app or in iOS Settings → Notifications → One Line.
Accessibility and motion
The app includes labeled controls, VoiceOver board controls, adjustable text, optional pattern markings, and support for Reduce Motion. You can skip the optional iPad tracing activity without changing your score.
